Space
The piece operates as a spatial device—one that reorganizes perception, movement, and scale within its architectural context.
Space is a sculptural intervention that explores the tension between mass and void, presence and absence. Conceived as an inhabitable object rather than a purely contemplative artifact, the piece operates as a spatial device—one that reorganizes perception, movement, and scale within its architectural context.
The sculpture is defined by a continuous, fluid geometry that appears to compress and expand as it occupies the space, creating a sense of latent motion. Its surface reflects and absorbs light differently throughout the day, allowing the piece to shift in character depending on viewpoint, distance, and surrounding conditions. Rather than presenting a fixed image, Space reveals itself through experience.
Positioned as both an object and an environment, the sculpture invites the body to read space differently. It frames views, distorts reflections, and introduces moments of ambiguity between inside and outside, solid and liquid. In doing so, it questions the boundaries between sculpture, architecture, and infrastructure, proposing an alternative way of inhabiting space through form.
